My husband and I would love to thank Chapel Hill Retreat for helping us celebrate (and manage) our big day! From the pre-wedding meetings, to the day and post event, the team, with big mention to Rebecca whose been with us each step of the way. I don’t think I would have planned it better without her.

The ladies take the stress out of it especially if you opt for the supplier package like we did. They liaised with suppliers, provided guidance and advice, and really worked with us to plan the day. It’s surprising just how much you need to consider when you’ve never married before! And no matter how big or small our questions were, they always answered them.

The biggest highlight from the process was their professionalism on the day of our event. Rebecca kept us on schedule: from hair and makeup, confirming arrival of suppliers, decorating the ceremony and reception areas, to ceremony, photos and reception. Slight adjustments to timings or the order was met with a positive, yes, we can do that. 

Having the entire festivities at one location makes it so much easier for you and your guests (plus you save on all the travel!). Rebecca had no issues in driving my dad and I to the ceremony in the Bush Cathedral or driving my new husband and I down to the beautifully appointed Lake Lodge in the evening. 

Our guests and family who stayed onsite loved the accommodation and those who travelled found it easy to get to. Numerous guests of all ages have commented to me saying that our wedding was one of the best they’ve attended for how well the day ran and seamlessly transitioned.

If you’re like my husband and I and want a (mostly) stress-free wedding that your guests will enjoy, I highly recommend Chapel Hill Retreat. It’s not just a wedding venue, but a full service from those who really go out of their way to make your day a special one.
