THE LAWN
Chapel Hill Retreat is the most romantic and magical venue in the Blue Mountains to host a garden or outdoor wedding. Set against the locale of a majestic mountain landscape, our wedding venue offers a rustic, calming ambience to transport you and your guests to the wedding of your dreams. Our lawn area has expansive views of the mountains which creates a great backdrop for photos and is located in a central area of the property within close proximity to the reception & accommodation area.

THE CHAPEL
Our non-denominational Chapel creates a unique setting for your marriage ceremony. The magnificent stained glass windows add atmosphere to your ceremony experience and provide the perfect backdrop for your photos. The Chapel is also a wonderful wet weather backup if you are planning for an outdoor wedding ceremony.
Location type: Indoor / Wet Weather
Position on property: A short walk from both the reception hall and the accommodation/bridal lounge.
Dimensions: 10m long, entrance area is 6.13×3.93m and main are is 4m wide.
Number of guests: 60-70 seated and 80-100 standing
THE OPEN DECK
Boasting breathtaking views and a convenient proximity to the reception hall, our Open Deck ceremony site is one of our most recent ceremony location additions.
Location type: Outdoor
Position on property: Just off the side of the reception room and very close to accommodation/bridal lounge.
Dimensions: 13.5m x 6.5 m
Number of guests: 70 seated or 120 standing
THE BUSH CATHEDRAL
Our Bush Cathedral is an open air cathedral framed by towering gum trees with low lying ferns and a lake behind. It is a stunning spot for your ceremony that will leave a lasting impression on your guests and it also provides a beautiful backdrop with endless possibilities for photos.

Position on property: Positioned deep into the Chapel Hill property, the Bush Cathedral is a 5 minute walk from the reception room. There is a big hill, so getting back may take longer.

THE VERANDAH
Our undercover reception verandah has stunning views of mountains, Wheeny Gap and the city and it’s a great alternative for wet weather. The verandah is also a wonderful place to enjoy pre dinner drinks and canapes or the perfect place to dance the night away with your guests.

Position on property: Just off the side of the reception room and very close to accommodation/bridal lounge.

THE AVENUE OF TREES
Our absolutely stunning avenue of trees is a quiet little pocket of serenity that overlooks the Chapel Hill property. With gorgeous towering oak trees, this romantic ceremony location is also perfect for photos.

Position on property: The Avenue of Trees is just a short, easy walk from the reception room. Also very close to the Bridal Lounge and accommodation.
